Internal Systems
IT Manager:
The day-to-day operations and security of information is in the hands of the Internal Information Technology Manager! The individual serving in this capacity will be challenged with developing and implementing internal information systems security, risk assessment, auditing, compliance, access control and incident response. Specific responsibilities may include:
- Obtain and correctly configure necessary equipment (desktops, laptops, network connectivity, Intranet access, etc.) for all new employees
- Respond to and resolve any internal employee systems issues
- Successfully set up and administer all internal systems
- Successfully monitor and perform operational tasks to support the security of the internal systems (intrusion detection, security incident response, event log analysis, management reporting, virus prevention, remediation functions, etc.)
- Conduct internal IT risk assessment, make recommendations and implement solutions
- Perform administration of networks, operating systems and office applications
- Support, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and enhance infrastructure tools, software and hardware
- Coordinate and manage full life-cycle development of internal systems development
